PERFORATED SPACE 2022 - 2023

On the quay near a carpentry workshop, a dozen of multiplex panels are placed against the wall. Rows of identical shapes have been cut out with a computer, they are waste material, but offer many possibilities when used in creating a space. Light can project rhythmic shadows when passes through and the space behind the wall becomes more or less visible.
The photo works within this series were created in 2022 and 2023.

As of 2018, the entire space in the photo is actually being built for the sole purpose of being photographed. The construction process is like a journey to a previously unvisited location, an intuitive search with an unpredictable destiny. An essential part of these spaces is that they are large enough to be fysically entered (see SET 2018-2021).
