Visualizing the reconstruction 2009

Shortly after completing the renovation of the galleries in the museum, eight photo-panels are installed, showing different moments during the building proces. The panels are placed at the same spot where the photographs are taken.

The photographs are freestanding and show what is inside the walls, between the pristine white surfaces. Comparing the photograph and it's immediate environment makes the surrounding gallery become part of the image.

A short documentary on the installation is produced by PhotoQ.nl
