Butts and fries that accumulate at the top of the escalator, football setups and traffic infrastructures are at the origin of Emiel Zeno's work, and show (ir) regular systems of our cultural city life. With the interaction between details and architecture, Zeno tries to interweave subjects without closing these systems. Details within his installations show that what seems insignificant has been fitted into the whole with great care, even has a constructive value. The work presents itself as an arrangement of the back of things, an homage to the unsightly.
